Drafty flattening of and sketching on ref page

Drafty refactoring of the mermaid diagram and a flat reference section. If we could populate the empty documents (by pulling them in from the respective repos) we would be in pretty good shape. Doesn't have to be perfect, but it would be nice to have something that can be improved in future revisions.
